The student body continues to increase each year to meet demand for secondary education. Each year almost half of the applicants are turned away due to lack of classroom space and teachers.

Funding for a Second Classroom Building is being pursued to alleviate severe overcrowding and to accommodate additional students eager for secondary education.

BLISS has risen swiftly in the ranks of the Kenyan schools, based on national exam results. For 2008 through 2013 BLISS was named the #1 Day School in the North Imenti District. 

Remarkably, BLISS placed 5th among more than sixty-nine secondary schools in the District in 2011. In 2013, BLISS rose to 3rd place in the District, outranked by two top ranked national boarding schools. This is unheard of
